Following the request of the Kyiv city council member, OSF provided expert support to improve the efficiency of municipal programs and helped to "open" the capital city budget.
OSF expert Ivan Sikora, upon the invitation of the member of city council budget committee Maksym Hapchuk (‘Samopomich’), joined the "Open Budget" platform. In April 2015 OSF has provided suggestions for more efficient development, approval and implementation of municipal programs in Kyiv.
OSF analyzed and mapped the processes of development, approval and execution of local programs in Kyiv. For each stage of the current procedure we revealed the shortcomings of legal regulation and developed amendments to the Procedure for the development, approval and implementation of municipal programs in Kyiv, approved by the City Council on 29.10.2009 #520 / 2589.
